Trainer Consultant Marine Engineering
Humber Maritime College

Salary: £40000 plus relocation if required
The Humber Maritime College is a new maritime college offering training for Merchant Navy engineering cadets as well as short courses for the small vessel sector. As part of the TEC Partnership we are seeking to appoint a Trainer/Consultant in Marine Engineering to develop and deliver courses up to and including HND level.
The post holder will be delivering teaching and learning to cadets at Level 2, 3 and HNC. You will also develop new teaching and learning materials for cadet and short course delivery.
Classroom, simulator and blended learning approaches will be used to create a world-class maritime training facility using the facilities at the Humber Maritime College and the TEC Partnership’s Grimsby Institute campus.
Ideally with experience as lecturer in marine engineering and with up to date teaching and / or senior sea-going experience, we are primarily looking for persons with the desire and passion to create a student learning experience which is second to none.
