About the role
The Construction and Engineering curriculum are seeking to appoint a motivated and enthusiastic Electrical Automotive Technician to join the well-established team. This is a fast-paced and diverse role, in which you will work closely with Programme Leaders and the Head of Curriculum to provide high quality and responsive technical support. Other duties will include; maintenance of electric vehicles, tooling and electric vehicle charging point demonstration rigs, dealing with queries via phone, email and letter and maintaining records, ensuring the safety of all equipment and resources of electric vehicle charging systems.
About the person
The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service, as well as strong organisation, ICT competency and administrative skills. Candidates should also have Level 2/GCSE Maths and English and prior experience of working with electric vehicles or electric vehicle charging points. Prior experience working in a relevant trade discipline of automotive or electrical fields is essential.
