About the role
East Riding College currently has a fantastic opportunity for a Staff Development Officer to become a key member of our successful and supportive Quality and Teaching Standards Unit (QTSU). As the Staff Development Officer you will play a key part in ensuring the continuous improvement of standards throughout the College through staff development activities. You will work closely with College managers to identify and agree training and development priorities and needs and ensure all training activities are effectively organized, delivered and recorded. Another key role will be to identify and ensure the delivery of relevant regulatory training.
About the person
You will have experience in a Staff Development role or an equivalent role with experience or planning, monitoring and executing high quality events/training for individuals within an organization. You have experience and confidence in working with varying IT systems, researching training needs, identifying, organizing and evaluating events/activities, and managing a budget. You will need to be very organized and have the ability to communicate with a diverse range of people. You will have at least a Level 3 qualification, a Level 3 Learning & Development Certificate, or willing to work towards, and Level 2 Literacy and Numeracy.
