Skills and Employability Trainer (STEC VA 21-20)
£21,261 – £22,473 per annum
Fixed term until November 2023

We have successfully bid for and won the ESF contract for the Scarborough and surrounding area, this contract is to help support individuals studying T-Level qualifications to gain industry experience through SME organisations. The contract is to be delivered in partnership with ERC and Bishop Burton College and the project will aim to establish engagement with 124 SME’s and create 112 additional placement opportunities.
As a Skills & Employability Tutor you will be required to develop good quality and sustainable links with local employers with a view to placing our students into work experience placements in their chosen industry.
There will also be a requirement to deliver short employability sessions covering but not restricted to Interview techniques, cv building, confidence building & job search.
Skills and Knowledge
- Teacher or Training qualification (Preferred)
- Sales experience (preferred)
- Good knowledge of the local area
- Full UK driving Licence
- Excellent ability to organise own diary
- Excellent people skills
- Ability to work as part of a team or on your own
- Excellent communication skills
