About the role
We are looking to recruit a senior administrator to lead a team working closely with the Principal and senior management team, liaising with a wide range of internal and external customers. You will be confident and able to work under your own initiative, leading the college administration team and answer queries from staff, students, external agencies or refer to other members of the S.M.T as appropriate. You must be able to draft and prepare letters, correspondence and reports as required in a timely manner. You will also control the Principals appointment diary, welcoming and dealing with visitors.
About the person
Experience of clerical and administrative work within an office environment is required for this role. Experience of working in the further education sector is desirable but not essential. You will need to have experience of minuting and servicing meetings and be able to work in a pressurised environment. The successful candidate will hold a Level 3 Business and Administration Qualification or equivalent and be a competent user of I.T – Word, Spreadsheet & Databases. For this role you will need excellent communication skills, be able to prioritise work load with good time managements skills, self-motivated and a good organiser.
