£27,660 – £34,580 FTE (£19,436.76 – £24,299.46 pro rata per annum) 

26 hours per week

About the role 

The Construction department are now looking to appoint a motivated and enthusiastic Painting & Decorating Programme Leader to join the well-established team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a forward thinking, progressive area at Grimsby Institute. Key responsibilities of the role consist of:
-Inducting, teaching, facilitating and tracking of learner progress.
-Recruitment of learners onto appropriate programmes and levels of study.
-Taking an active role in ongoing development of new programmes of study that meet the changing needs of learners.
-Plan for and assess learners according to awarding body/ quality standards and Institute Group requirements and provide high quality and timely feedback to learners on all assessments.
-Positively promote and engage in enrichment activities with learners both as part of the curriculum and in centrally organised activities. 

About the person 

Candidates will ideally be fully qualified (minimum Level 3) and have relevant work/industrial experience within the Construction industry as a Painter. Candidates should also have a teaching qualification, or be willing to work towards this. Plus a good level of English, Maths and communication skills are vital to this role.
