About the role

We are looking for a committed and dynamic Engineering Programme Leader to join our new H.N.C Program at Scarborough TEC in an exciting moment in its development as part of the new Institute of technology. If you are currently an experienced Engineering Programme Leader, or you are currently working in the Engineering industry looking for a fresh challenge and are passionate about supporting young people achieve their Career Aspirations within Industry, Scarborough TEC has the career for you.   This post will suit an enthusiastic and motivated Programme Leader with a background in Engineering. In this role, you will lead the Engineering H.N.C Programmes, providing students with a dynamic Study Programme that will set them up ready for the world of work or progression onto University. This is a great opportunity to watch the learners develop throughout their course as you will also be responsible for all elements including, Tutorials and High Grades.

About the person

Ideally, candidates will be fully qualified with an Engineering Degree / HND , with a specialism in Engineering Math’s & Physics and also have relevant work/industrial experience within the Engineering industry . Those without teaching experience, but willing to train towards, are welcome to apply. It is also highly desirable that you hold (or be willing to work towards) the Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement and also desirable for you to also hold a Certificate/Award in Internal Quality Assurance (if old qualifications are held (e.g. A1 or V1) it is essential that you are willing to update to the new standards).
