About the role

The department of Electrical Installation are now looking to appoint a motivated, enthusiastic, and experienced Programme Leader to join the well-established team. This is a fast-paced and diverse role, in which you will work closely with other Programme Leaders and the Head of Faculty to provide high quality and responsive education.

Other job duties include:

  • Teaching across a range of Level 1, level 2, level 3 and Apprenticeships
  • Undertaking administrative duties related to programme.
  • Dealing with queries via phone, email, and letter.
  • Analysing data and producing reports using a range of systems.
  • Organising meetings, parents’ evening, and other college events.
  • Completing a self-assessment report to demonstrate academic achievements throughout the year and reflect upon.
  • Follow a comprehensive disciplinary policy with learners where required.
  • Maintaining records.

About the person

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills with a focus on good communication and strong organisation and administrative skills.

Candidates should possess:

  • Level 3 NVQ Electrotechnical installation or equivalency.
  • Prior experience working as an electrical engineer or educator.
  • Experience of analysing data and writing reports.
  • ICT competency.
  • IQA experience.
  • Assessing experience
