About the role
The Scarborough TEC Estates Department are now looking to appoint a motivated and enthusiastic Maintenance Operative to join their well-established team. This is a fast-paced and diverse role, in which you will work closely with the Estates Team to provide a high quality and responsive service. Duties include: completing planned and reactive maintenance tasks in an efficient, effective and timely manner, Undertaking project work as directed by line management and ensuring the security and general appearance of the buildings and surrounding areas are maintained as required.
About the person
The successful candidate will have verifiable skills or qualifications in at least two trades: carpentry and joinery, brick laying, plastering, tiling, ground works, roofing, plumbing or decorating or willing to work towards. Candidates should also have a level 2/GCSE Maths and English.
