£4,206.50 per annum (FTE £17,372)
11 hours per week, 36 weeks per year
Fixed term until 31st July 2022

As a Learning Support Advisor (English and Maths), you will take the role of supporting learners with their progress with their mathematics qualifications as part of their study programme. This will be include in class support or small group interventions both online and face to face. This could be working with learners with Education, Health and Care Plans, or learners who need specific ‘catch up’ to enable them to make the progress required.
You will hold a minimum of a Level 2 in English and maths, although a Level 3 would be desirable. You will have experience of delivering learning support in an educational setting in both a class and small group scenario. You must be a strong role model for English and Maths at every opportunity and have the ability to build rapport and relationships with learners who may be disengaged with the subject. A knowledge of delivering online support via Microsoft Teams would be desirable.
