£26,513 – £33,330 pro rata per annum (£10,031.95 – £12,611.35 actual salary)

As a Joinery Tutor, you will teach and provide appropriate support across Level 2 and Level 3 Site Joinery Apprentices and prepare and assemble suitable teaching materials and learning resources. You will also be involved in the development of the curriculum area, with a focus on maximising learner success and achievement.
This post will be based at our state-of-the-art site in Flemingate, Beverley, with some possible travel to the College base at St Mary’s Walk, Bridlington.
What We Need From You
You will hold a level 3 qualification relevant to the curriculum area and have experience of teaching and learning, and knowledge of a range of related qualifications. A teaching qualification (Cert Ed/PGCE) is essential, or the willingness to work towards this. An Assessors award would be desirable.
Required skills, experience and qualifications of the suitable candidate:
- Joinery experience on-site and/or in a workshop environment
- Recent and relevant teaching and learning experience in the curriculum area
- Recent and relevant experience delivering apprenticeship programmes up to Level 3
- A relevant Level 3 qualification in curriculum area.
- Hold or be willing to gain Level 2 (or equivalent) Literacy & Numeracy
- Level 3 PTLLS.
