About the role

The Foundation area are looking to appoint a motivated and enthusiastic Job Coach to join a well established team. This role will provide specific assistance to the Supported Internship Programme Leader in the development of both internal and external work placements.

Other duties will include:

  • Sourcing work placements with various employers
  • Assisting learners in preparation for their work placements
  • Working alongside the learners
  • Preparing relevant Health and Safety documentation

About the person

The successful candidate will have excellent communication and presentation skills with a strong focus on customer/employer service, as well as strong organisational and administrative skills.

Candidates should also have:

  • Coaching & Mentoring qualification
  • Recent experience of working with post 16 learners with a variety of learning difficulties/disabilities in an educational and/or workplace.
  • Be self motivated and autonomous
