About the role
The Foundation and Learning Support area are now looking to appoint a motivated and enthusiastic Tutor to teach within an established Foundation team. This post is fixed term to cover maternity leave. This is a fast paced and diverse role that requires close working with experienced staff within the Foundation area.
Duties will include:
- Teaching foundation learners – as directed by the Head of Faculty
- To prepare and teach various entry/Level 1 provision types – including the lead on supported internships
- To carry out the general administrative duties associated with the post
About the person
The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent teaching to a wide variety of Foundation learners as well as having strong organisational skills.
Candidates should also have:
- Teaching qualification – Cert Ed/PGCE Qualified to National Standards for assessors
- A relevant level 3 in the curriculum area
- Recent and relevant teaching and learning experience in the curriculum area
