East Riding College currently has a fantastic opportunity to join the College in the role of Facilities Technician. East Riding College is part of The TEC Partnership – a large, innovative, dynamic and financially sound organisation. We are officially an “Outstanding” educational provider.
This is a rare opportunity for the right individual to become a key member of our team, working with employees and learners from all areas of the College.
As a Facilities Technician, you will be required to undertake maintenance, domestic/cleaning and security duties across the College premises, ensuring that a safe, effective and efficient environment is maintained for teaching and learning. You will check the College premises for maintenance requirements, reporting and carrying out actions when required and transporting learners in College vehicles.
The successful candidate will have strong understanding of this type of work, as well as previous experience as a facilities technician or related role. You will have excellent communication skills, the ability to cope with a varied and demanding role and able to work as part of a large team or alone. You must be flexible to accommodate various working patterns and be able to cover on other sites if required. You will also hold Health and Safety in the workplace to a good standard.
