About the role
This role is to provide and maintain an effective cleaning service of the East Riding College, as instructed by the Facilities Officer, in liaison with the Group Executive Director of Estates, ensuring a safe, clean, effective and efficient environment is upheld for teaching and learning.
The post is predominately a domestic role with a strong emphasis towards Customer Care and Safety.
About the person
The successful candidate should have previous experience working as a domestic assistant or related service preferably within a school or college environment, previous experience of working within a Health and Safety aware environment and have an understanding of COSHH regulations and risk assessments. The successful candidate will also be required to work well under pressure, be able to cope with a varied and demanding workload and work well both individually and as part of a team, hold excellent communication skills, being able to communicate with people at all levels. Basic IT skills are also required.
