About the position
NET UK (part of the TEC Partnership) are looking to recruit experienced, classroom based, Employability and Skills Tutor for a busy unemployed project. The project covers the following geographical areas: Yorkshire and Humber, Lincolnshire and Midlands, so the successful applicant must be willing to travel. Experience of teaching, learning and assessment to classroom based learners is essential. Employability skills experience is essential and it is desirable that the successful applicant will have experience in one of the following sectors: – CSCS Construction with ability to teach L1 H&S in Construction Environment – SIA Security with approval to deliver Emergency First Aid, Security Guard, Door Supervisor and CCTV – Hospitality & Catering and Food Production with approval to deliver up to L3 Food Safety – Customer Service – General Employability Skills
The successful candidate must hold a teaching qualification at L3 or above and a min Grade C / level 2 in English and Maths. It is desirable that they must have an Assessors qualification and essential that they hold occupational competence in the sector that they teach. This role involves frequent travel therefore a clean driving license and car user would be an advantage. They must be familiar with the Education Inspection Framework and familiar with TLA observation processes.
