We are now offering a fantastic opportunity to join the National Employer Training (NET) in the role of Employability and Skills Tutor.  If you are a team player who is passionate about helping learners reach their full potential, then we want to hear from you!

This role will be based in Nottingham with travel around the East Midlands area. Candidates should have access to their own transport and be willing to travel to all group sites (mileage will be paid).

About the role

This role is based at our Nottingham training centre (NG1) and will involve supporting our learners through sector work academy programmes to progress them into employment. This role will be responsible for the teaching, learning and assessment of short qualifications, employability skills and customer service skills. Experience delivering specialist sector qualifications is desirable and these include:

  • Construction
  • Care
  • Hospitality
  • Digital (basic to intermediate)
  • Maths
  • English
  • ESOL

About the person

The successful applicant will have experience delivering teaching, learning and assessment preferably in a FE setting and or welfare to work experience. A minimum Level 3 teaching qualification is essential and occupational competence is desirable in at least 1 sector specialism. Candidates should also have a can-do attitude and excellent customer service skills.
