About the role
Scarborough TEC is seeking skilled technician to join our Building Services team across the Electrical and Plumbing Department. As a Building Services Technician, you will play a crucial role in preparing and maintaining specialist areas to ensure clean, safe, and well-maintained learning environments. Your responsibilities will include providing supervision to learners in independent work, contributing to resource management, and offering high-quality client service.
About the person
The successful candidate will have knowledge of Health & Safety regulations and have Electrical or Plumbing related Qualifications. You will prepare and maintain specialist areas as specified by academic staff and supervise learners, to ensure safe and appropriate use of resources. Care for designated areas and associated equipment and handling routine maintenance. You will need to provide workshop support to ensure safe learner- to -staff ratios and prepare resources for internal and external events, supporting staff and learners.
