We are now offering a fantastic opportunity to join the Little Stars Day Nursery in the role of Early Years Practitioner. If you are a team player who is passionate about helping learners reach their full potential, then we want to hear from you!

About the role

We are seeking to recruit a hardworking, enthusiastic, motivated, and forward-thinking Level 2 or 3 Early Years Practitioner to work 20 hours per week ,all year round. The ideal candidate will be passionate about working with children from birth to five years’ old and enhancing their learning and development. You will be a key person to a group of children responsible for planning, report writing, observing, and supporting all children and their needs. Experience of Tapestry is also beneficial. The ideal candidate will need to be a strong team player with excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a large setting, prioritising workloads and managing tasks.

About the person

The successful candidate will work Wednesday afternoon and all day on a Thursday and Friday and must:

  • Hold at least a level 2/3 qualification in early years which is full and relevant.
  • Safeguarding qualification is desirable as is, SEN training, paediatric first aid and food hygiene.
  • Versatile communicative skills such as verbal, written and being able to converse in different situations.
  • Professionalism within everything you do.
  • Have a good sense of humour and a fun, bubbly person!
