Distance Learning Administrator (21/080)

£17,221 per annum

37 hours per week


Location: Nuns Corner, Grimsby

The post holder will work flexibly as part of the Distance Learning Team, contributing to the delivery of efficient administrative processes, systems and procedures, in order to ensure that a high-quality administrative support service is provided to staff.

They will carry out data management and quality related activities in accordance with the Group’s administrative processes and audit requirements to preserve the integrity, validity and accuracy of the learner and staff record. They will provide support to the Business and Curriculum Manager and Distance Learning Co-ordinator.

The post holder will be expected to provide excellent customer service to internal and external clients and they will act as an ambassador for the Group. They will promote the Group’s Learner First ethos, ensuring that the learner experience is uppermost in policy and decision making.

The post holder will:

  • Hold Level 2 in a Business Administration related qualification –
  • Hold English and Maths to at least Level 2
  • Have up to date knowledge of ICT systems and packages
  • Have a proven track record of administrative support
  • Show the ability to provide timely and accurate information and to analyse and assimilate information quickly
  • Have excellent customer service skills and to work effectively as a member of a team.
