The Curriculum Manager is a key management position that is fast-paced and diverse and rewarding. Supporting the Associate Principal/ Managing Director and programme leaders within the faculty of advanced technology and the maritime college.

We are currently seeking to appoint a Curriculum Manager who will provide operational leadership and management to a Curriculum team who have excellent outcomes, work experience and progression to higher education.

The applicant must be prepared to work in a busy environment, who has an ability to work to tight deadlines whilst under pressure, ensuring high quality of work. The successful candidate will contribute and monitor to the curriculum design, as well as monitoring of teaching, learning and assessment within both areas. In addition, the suitable candidate will effectively and efficiently, manage all staff and resources for all aspects of the learner journey. This includes monitoring both learner and staff performance to ensure both expansion of provision and the highest quality learner experience.

The ideal candidate will have extensive industry experience and connections to the fabrication and welding sector as well as having proven experience of managing curriculum in an Outstanding educational provider. The successful candidate will also be able to develop excellent professional working relationships across a range of departments, have knowledge or experience of driving competitions locally and nationally and have an eye for detail and react to the changing face of industry and its expectations of training providers.

The suitable candidate will also hold a suitable management qualification or be working towards one and be familiar with the expectations of awarding bodies and their qualifications and content
