About the role
We are looking to recruit a dynamic and flexible individual to work within the Community and Flexible Learning Department. The role will be on facilitating IT, Maths and English sessions, based at our Grimsby Learning Centre. The successful candidate may also be required to travel to our other Learning Centres based in Louth, Immingham, Cleethorpes, or any other outreach sites we are delivering from.
Due to the flexible and varied nature of the position the successful candidate must have good communication and teamwork skills while also being competent in delivering up to L2 in IT and digital skills, functional skills maths, functional skills English and be able to engage and liaise with a broad range of ages from 14+. This varied and public facing role is an exciting proposition to someone who is personable in their approach and enjoys inspiring learners to achieve.
About the person
This position may need to provide holiday cover across all centres in Grimsby, Immingham, and Louth so the ability to drive and having access to a vehicle is essential. The ideal candidate must hold a minimum of Level 3 teaching qualification or willingness to work towards it. Candidates must be experienced in the delivery of Maths and English functional skills and IT qualifications up to Level 2, have a flexible approach and be approachable with the ability to inspire learners to achieve their goals.
