Location: Nuns Corner, Grimsby. 

Please note that this is not a permanent position. The hours are on an as and when basis.

About the role 

The Grimsby Institute is looking for a receptionist to work in our state of the art sports centre. The centre includes a sports hall, fitness suite, exercise studio, sports injury clinic and outdoor Astroturf pitches. Although experience is preferred, it is not essential as training will be given. The role covers all reception duties including managing the bookings, raising invoices, communicating with users and taking cash and electronic payments. You will also be proactive in raising the profile of the facilities and marketing as well as being responsible for the shift to shift running of the building. You will work with external clients as the centre is open 17:00-21:00 weekdays and 9:00-15:00 on Saturdays.  

About the person 

Candidates should hold a level 2 administration or customer service qualification. Excellent communication and organisational skills are essential. You should be able to work using your own initiative and would be expected to assist in the marketing.
