FdA and BA (Hons) TV Production programme focuses on the role of TV Production in the contemporary creative industries and broader visual culture. The course is a choice for students who want to commit to an innovative programme of studio based study. The Course is situated within University Centre Grimsby building.
Reporting to the Curriculum Manager for HE Digital & Creative Industries and working with the overall Programme Leader for TV Production, an opportunity has arisen for a suitably qualified practitioner, preferable with experience in industry to join this dynamic course. The main focus of the role will be to provide practical TV Production support in a studio based setting. Our students engage in a range of approaches to TV and come from a wide variety of backgrounds. You will have a strong understanding of how to support specialist practices within a broader creative context. This post is required to provide primarily Level 4 and 5 students with technical and creative skills and support their practical projects. The person required will demonstrate a broad skillset in this field, with a talent for various types of TV Production and its commercial applications.
The hours of work are casual and flexible but it is anticipated that the successful applicant will teach at least one module at levels 4 and 5 for between 5.5 and 11 hours per week over 3, 8 week trimesters, beginning in September 2020.
It is expected that candidates will have a qualification at least one level above the teaching level required. For level 6, candidates must have a Master’s Degree in a relevant discipline.
In addition, candidates must be able to demonstrate evidence of professional practice and experience.
