Location: Nuns Corner, Grimsby

About the role
Are you passionate about ensuring that students reach their full potential? We are looking for a determined and passionate Games Programme Leader within our Higher Education provision at Grimsby TEC. If you are currently an experienced Games Programme Tutor or presently working in the Games industry looking for a fresh challenge and are passionate about supporting students achieve their Employment Aspirations within the Games Industry, we would like to hear from you.
About the person
The successful candidate will have the following skills, experience and qualifications:
- Excellent communication skills and demonstrate skills in modern games engines – primarily Unity and Unreal while presenting a thorough understanding of the fundamentals of game design.
- A specialist in either Video Game Programming or 3D Video Game Art, with knowledge of industry-relevant software and features, such as Maya, 3DS Max, Unreal, Unity, Photoshop, Blender, ZBrush.
- Relevant industry experience, either employment at a studio or through releasing an indie game of your own.
- A higher qualification in a relevant degree or a Master’s degree is desirable.
