The faculty of Health, Wellbeing and Society is looking for a highly motivated, conscientious vocational teacher to join our outstanding team as a Casual Programme Leader for dog grooming within animal care.
The role will include working with the dog grooming team to provide an excellent experience to learners through exemplary learning, teaching, standards of assessment and skills development. You will be working closely with other members of the course team(s) to support high quality information, advice and guidance; recruitment, retention, achievement, success and progression of individual learners within a framework of continual quality improvement.
In this post, you will support the provision of high quality learner experience through all stages of the learning journey and managing learner cohorts towards achievement.
This post is casual, therefore flexibility around availability to work is advisable and expected.
The successful post-holder will have:
- A relevant qualification at level 3 in dog grooming
- Experience of lesson planning and delivery in further education, and or higher education
- Previous experience of assessing learners progress and final assignments
- Industry experience in dog grooming is desirable
