About the role
The faculty of Health Well-being and Society is looking to appoint a highly motivated Counselling Programme Leader. We are looking to recruit an individual who has counselling expertise and is also enthusiastic and passionate about sharing these skills with our adult learners. Our mission is to inspire and make a positive difference to individuals lives through exemplary teaching and learning.
About the person
The successful candidate should have a good understanding of the different theoretical approaches to counselling with particular reference to Person Centered. The candidate will be expected to teach across both Level 2 and 3 courses. All candidates should hold:
- A relevant degree or equivalent professional qualification
- Industry related experience
- A teaching qualification or be working towards this.
- Level 2/GCSE English and Maths
- ICT skills
