Hours are variable with the possibility of up to 37 hours per week

Location: Nun’s Corner, Grimsby

Please note that this is not a permanent position. The hours are on an as and when basis.

The Casual Distance Learning Administrator is a key position that is fast-paced and diverse. Supporting the Distance Learning Coordinator and other members of the team, the Casual Distance Learning Administrator will be responsible for:

  • Dealing with learner queries via phone, email and face-to-face
  • Undertaking learner inductions
  • Enrolment of learners
  • Data management
  • Processing learners work
  • Liaising with script-markers
  • Processing feedback
  • Supporting the quality assurance process
  • Ensuring timely submission of work

Qualifications, Experience and Skills required for the role:

  • Level 2/GCSE Grade C or above in English and Maths
  • L2 Qualification in Business Administration
  • Prior experience working in administration or an office role
  • Experience working in a fast pace role
  • Experience using the Microsoft Package e.g. Excel spreadsheets
  • Experience analysing data
  • Must have excellent customer service skills
  • Must be IT competent
  • Must have good organisational skills
  • Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Must be punctual
  • Must work well as part of a team as well as individually
  • Must be self-motivated
  • Must be able to prioritise workload
