About the role

In this role you will work with a team of dynamic and supportive staff who work together to ensure that students have the very best opportunities possible. The main duties of this role are to assess various hospitality and catering qualifications and provide support to staff in the college to ensure successful outcomes. In addition, as a professional in your subject, you will be responsible for planning, preparing and delivering sessions which are engaging, informative and challenging and for tracking and monitoring learners to ensure achievement of their qualifications. It is essential that you are a team player and you must also possess sound knowledge of the hospitality industry.

About the person

You will hold a minimum of a relevant Level 3 qualification in hospitality and catering curriculum, a D32/33 & 34, A1/V1 Award and ideally hold a teaching qualification (PGCE/Cert Ed). You should have experience of teaching in FE curriculum within this area as well as have up to date knowledge and experience in hospitality and catering. You must have the ability to implement initiatives and other developments relevant to the curriculum area.
