About the role
In this role you will work with a team of dynamic and supportive staff who work together to ensure that students have the very best opportunities possible. As an assessor of Health and Social Care and distance learning qualifications you will be responsible for the delivery of a number of work based qualifications and apprenticeship such as Adult care worker and adult care worker. You will be responsible for a learner caseload and will work with students and employers to ensure achievement of their qualifications, therefore possessing sound knowledge of both your subject area and assessment strategies is vital to this role. It is essential that the successful candidate is a team player as you will be working as a member of a committed and supportive team who are passionate, creative and determined to support students in fulfilling their full potential.
About the person
This role will be mainly assessing in the workplace on Health and Social Care qualifications and also assessing on distance learning qualifications. You will hold a minimum of a level three qualification relevant to the sector and excellent subject knowledge. An assessor qualification, or the willingness to achieve this is essential.
