The TEC Partnership is a large, innovative, dynamic and financially sound organisation.

We are currently looking for an assistant accountant to join the finance department of our award winning "outstanding" college on a permanent basis. 

The successful candidate will need to be a self-motivated, enthusiastic individual with excellent mathematical and problem-solving skills, demonstrating good attention to detail who enjoys being part of a team. The role reports to the management accountant and the assistant accountant will be responsible for month end reporting and analysis including the preparation of accruals, prepayments, internal recharges, review of profit & loss accounts and production of monthly reporting packs.

They will assist in the preparation of annual budgets and monthly forecasts, prepare quarterly VAT returns, balance sheet reconciliations and take responsibility for the preparation of the annual statutory accounts for two subsidiary companies. They will act as Business Partner to heads of certain Curriculum areas and have other ad hoc duties as required. Experience in the Educational Sector is not essential.
