The Distance Learning Unit delivers a diverse portfolio of accredited Level 2 and 3 qualifications to an increasing number of adult learners across the country. 

Due to the high demand for our courses we are looking to appoint another 3 professionals to our casual bank of markers to mark on the following courses:

Level 2 Awareness of Mental Health Problems

Level 2 Children and Young Peoples Mental Health

Level 2 Dyslexia and other Specific Learning Difficulties

Level 2 Understanding Behaviour that Challenges

If you have a teaching qualification and a minimum Level 3 qualification in any of the courses listed as well as vocational experience and evidence of CPD we would welcome your application. 

You will work from home providing written feedback to learners to keep them engaged and motivated to achieve their qualification.  Although the working hours are flexible you will be required to manage your workload within a set timeframe to ensure timeliness of feedback to learners. 

You must be able to take on approximately 15/20 hrs work a week or more.  Please note that due to a local quality arrangement you must not be working in another capacity for more than 20 hours to be able to fulfil the 20hrs marking in this role.
