An exciting opportunity arises as the University Centre Grimsby develops the delivery of Nursing in partnership with the University of Hull and NLaG. The Faculty of Health and Wellbeing is seeking to recruit a lecturer in Adult Nursing on a 0.75 contract.
The post holder must have three years or more post-registration professional experience of delivering and managing services for adults needing health care interventions. The post holder must have current experience of facilitating the learning of students across a range of settings. An NMC approved teaching qualification is desirable. Mentorship experience would be advantageous, clinical skills tuition will be essential and fundamental to the role. Understanding of the CAP process and documentation would also be desirable.
Dedication to innovative teaching and research activities within nursing are a requirement of the role alongside the maintenance of high academic standards and enhancement of the student experience. You will have a commitment to engaging with the practice environment and maintain up to date knowledge and skills enabling the delivery of a dynamic, responsive curriculum.
